Job Description

An opportunity is available to join the staff of our popular and high achieving 11-16 Church of England Academy. All Saints opened as a new build school in September 2003 with an intended capacity of 600 students. In 2017 Governors commenced the expansion of our student intake from 120 to 150 each year to achieve a revised net capacity of 750.This has been revised further to allow for expansion to a net capacity of 900, commencing September 2019.

We are currently seeking to appoint a self-motivated, enthusiastic and organised Exams Officer to be responsible for managing the effective and efficient administration of internal and external examinations and to ensure the ambition and intent of the school priorities are delivered to improve outcomes for students. The Exams Officer will liaise with school staff regarding entries, will manage the daily running of the exams and must be comfortable in leading, guiding and directing staff and students in respect of the exams provision. It is highly desirable that applicants have experience and working knowledge in accordance with the examination regulations within schools and are proficient users of exam software.

We are ideally looking for someone who has a vigilant and meticulous approach to examinations; who will ensure the fair and proper conduct of examinations in an environment that enables a student to perform at their best. The successful candidate will have excellent ICT skills, the ability to work both under pressure and on their own initiative, flexibility along with a commitment to maintaining a positive ethos.
