Senior Prefect Personal Development

My name is Emilie and I am the Personal Development Senior Prefect. I applied for this prefect role as it is something I have looked up to since year 7 and has been a key goal I have aspired towards, so that I can help the younger students of All Saints Academy with their goals and well-being. I wish to not only help students character , but also to help with their mental health to ensure everyone feels safe and welcomed in the school community.

My role consists of PDE days which helps expand on the students’ knowledge outside of the standard school curriculum and set them up for future skills they may need, and also their personal well-being. Secondary school can be tough at times as they face many new challenges such as exams and social stress so it is important to speak to someone within the wellbeing team for help if they need it. Through my role I can educate younger students the importance of personal development within the academy that will upskill them for later life after leaving All Saints Academy.
