ALL SAINTS CHURCH OF ENGLAND ACADEMY SECURES GLOWING OFSTED REPORT

A recent Ofsted inspection has confirmed that All Saints Church of England Academy is a highly inclusive school where all pupils are helped to learn, develop and realise their potential.

The recent inspection found the school to be welcoming and caring, with pupils’ behaviour exemplary. The academy has a clear vision that ‘every child matters equally to God’ and this is shared and understood by both staff and pupils. Inspectors witnessed the warm and caring relationships, the calm and harmonious environment and a consistent demonstration of excellent manners.

The report cites how the school provides a ‘broad and ambitious curriculum’, extensive pupil leadership roles (cultural ambassadors, prefects and library leaders), a highly effective personal development programme and develops cultural understanding through ‘a comprehensive programme known as ‘Involve’. Through this, pupils develop their interests and talents, for example in sports and performing arts. They develop their cultural understanding through debates and visits to museums, theatres and landmarks.’

The positive impact of quality leadership in sustaining high standards and maintaining pupil attainment above local and national averages was celebrated. ‘Staff are proud to work at the school, and morale is high. They appreciate that leaders listen to them and support them with their workload and well-being.’
