Senior Prefect Head of House Helena

I'm Katie and I'm the Head of Helena. As a part of the Helena house, our house values are generosity and service. I would like to work with the team of Helena prefects to further explore these values and how they can be more prevalent throughout school. By fostering a culture of generosity and service, we can create a more compassionate and supportive environment where everyone feels valued.  

I aim to work on the mindsets of students, and I intend to get more students involved in extracurricular activities. This will benefit the students as it will boost their academic potential and allow them to thrive outside of the school environment. I will work collectively with staff and students to reach this goal and to create a safe and inclusive school environment by encouraging students to support others.

Joining a new school, in an unfamiliar environment, can be overwhelming for the new year 7’s, so I would like to help them with their transition into all saints as I know this is something that will boost their confidence through school. Being a  Care and Guidance Head Prefect allows me to be someone who students can feel comfortable to talk to and approach, which is something that played a major part in my decision to apply for this role and initially inspired me to become a prefect when I first heard about it in year 9. I am glad I got the opportunity to be head of Helena and to take on more responsibilities regarding the Helena house.
